Zero tolerance for drunk driving as 12 die on Eastern Cape roads

At least 12 people lost their lives on Eastern Cape roads at the weekend as traffic volumes across the province increase leading up to the Christmas weekend.

Despite the loss of life, the Eastern Cape transport department commended the majority of road users for their responsible behaviour on the roads and for getting themselves, as well as their passengers, to their destinations safely.   ..
