PE man missing after leaving home to go to church

A Port Elizabeth man who left his Westering home on Sunday to walk to church has since disappeared.
Nigel Fitt, 61, left his David Road house at about 08:45am.
When he failed to return home later, his family alerted the police. A police inquiry at his church showed Fitt failed to arrive for the service. Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu said it was unknown in which direction Fitt may have walked after leaving his house.
"He did not take any personal belongings with him," she said.
Fitt was last seen wearing a green jacket, green shirt, charcoal coloured pants and a cap.
Anyone who can assist can contact Warrant Officer Dirke Greef on 084 559 0310.
