Bay man shot and killed in his home

New Brighton police are investigating a case of murder after a 57-year-old man was shot and killed in his home on Wednesday afternoon (01/03/17).
Police Spokesperson Constable Mncedi Mbombo confirmed the incident, which took place shortly before 4pm in Norongo Street, New Brighton.
The man, who cannot be named until his next of kin had been notified, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head after two men entered his home.
According to Mbombo no arrests have been made.
