Premier expected to focus on achievements in address

EASTERN Cape premier Noxolo Kiviet is expected to use her final state of the province address to boast about the achievements of her administration, particularly in priority areas such as education and health.

ANC provincial chairman Phumulo Masualle yesterday said he expected the outgoing premier to use the opportunity today in Bhisho to reflect on the positive strides made by government to improve education, health, housing, rural development and the fight against crime and corruption. "We really hope since we're nearing our end of term, she will address us on the progress we made with what we promised the people of the province; where we are in development challenges.
