Move to build rockeries at beggars' spot

ROCKERIES are to be put up at the corner of Target Kloof and King George's Road in Mill Park as the ward councillor attempts to move out of the area a group of beggars who have been living there for at least five years.
Ward 3 DA councillor Dave Hayselden said he had received complaints from residents who did not want the beggars at the busy Port Elizabeth intersection.
Some motorists have also complained that beggars often disrupted traffic. Hayselden said they had decided to build the rockeries after they had tried and failed to remove the beggars.
