New heights for Words With Wings design services and gift-retail business Creativity is often the key to both survival and success for small businesses competing in a challenging and competitive market place but Nelson Mandela Bay entrepreneur Lynette Steenkamp has got that down to a fine art. Four years after launching her design services and gift retail-driven business, Steenkamp’s Words With Wings – which recently relocated to Sunridge Village Shopping Centre in Port Elizabeth– has soared to new heights. The 35-year-old designer has created an eclectic basket of complementary products and services which, while primarily directed at the wedding market, also includes corporate and business design offerings. Her main service include event stationery, including her main stay wedding invitations, hand made gifts, photography and corporate identity services which ranges from logo design to branding and packaging to website design. In addition to her physical store, Steenkamp also operates from online store platforms to retail hand-made items ranging from coffee mugs to bunting and brocches – with laser cutting and screen printing forming an important component of her operational activities.
