Move to ease queues at PE traffic offices

In a bid to ease the long queues at Port Elizabeth’s Korsten traffic department, the municipality has managed to find four additional eye-testing devices to add to the only one that was working.

At a safety and security portfolio committee meeting yesterday, portfolio head councillor John Best said all equipment fell within the ambit of the provincial Department of Safety.

Best said they were in the process of training cashiers to speed things up.
