Big-name artists in dark about ANC music event

Kwesta and DJ Tira were among the big drawcards punted in posters for the ANC’s Nelson Mandela Bay “Dabbing for #Siyanqoba” bash in New Brighton at the weekend – but some of the artists knew nothing about it.

The two were among 10 national artists advertised for the massive party at Embizweni Square on Sunday who did not turn up.

The ANC national leadership is blaming the regional ANC Youth League for the blunder, but the league denies authorising posters advertising the national artists.
