Elderly couple attacked in KwaNobuhle home

AN elderly couple was attacked by four knife wielding robbers inside their Tapayi Street home in KwaNobuhle  at about 1.30am yesterday morning.

According to police, the pensioners were held hostage inside their home after robbers broke a window to gain entry to the house.

Police spokesman Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei said the robbers threatened to stab the couple unless they handed over their car keys. -Gareth Wilson
