Stage 2 load-shedding announced

Eskom announced on Monday afternoon that Stage 2 load-shedding will be implemented from 5pm.
The power utility said the power system was constrained but stable for most of the day on Monday‚ enabling it to perform maintenance. However due to increased electricity demand and a shortage of generation capacity owing to power station units being on maintenance‚ it would have to implement load shedding
"Eskom will implement stage 2 load-shedding from 17:00 today and this is likely to continue until 22:00 this evening," Eksom said on social media.
