Dagga plantation suspect released on R4000 bail

A PORT Elizabeth man arrested on Friday after drugs to the value of about R700000 were seized from his property was released on R4000 bail yesterday.

Gustav Lokotsch, a 32-year-old financial manager, was nabbed after police found an allegedly high-quality dagga plantation on his Colleen Glen smallholding.

Police confiscated 24 small plants growing in the garage, 10 larger plants in a wendy house on the property, and 35 five-litre containers filled with dry dagga inside the house, totalling an estimated R700000. - Kathryn Kimberley
