PE talent in Four Winds Music Club show this week

Anton Calitz, Renate Seggie, Violin Blue, Sarah and Patrick Massey-Hicks and Jean Huisman on the Music Kitchen line-up

The Four Winds Music Club is hosting a diverse line-up at the Music Kitchen in Newton Park on Wednesday October 3.

Anton Calitz is a well-known Port Elizabeth musician who has written many original acoustic songs. The versatile musician plays guitar, pan pipes, mouth organ and banjo.
Erica Primary School music teacher Renate Seggie has “a wonderful voice and her acoustic guitar playing makes you sit up and listen” Gillies said.
Violin Blue is a bluegrass duo of Ilse van der Spuy and Gillies, who play violin, mandolin and guitar.
Sarah and Patrick Massey-Hicks are a husband and wife combo “with great harmonies and acoustic guitar work”.
Jean Huisman is in comparison the youngster of the night, but an accomplished guitarist “whose genre is a little more recent” Gillies said...
