Working-class struggles must be led by responsible leadership

The destruction of public property, insults to women vice-chancellors and taking riots to their private homes have been the latest features in recent student protests around SA universities. Of course, this is unacceptable and some circles are already condemning it.

But this should concern all of us who are committed to this democratisation project and we must constantly provide thoughts on how best we can navigate through challenges as a society without nullifying the little we already have...
