Closing arguments to be heard in Schroeder case



Closing arguments in the protracted fraud and murder case against a german national and his then common law wife are expected to be heard in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Wednesday.
Jens Leunberg, 41, and Kristina Adler stand accused of killing Claus Schroeder in August 2009.
It is alleged that Leunberg and Adler tried to defraud Claus and Tanja Schroeder through the sale of their Thornhill farm, Owvanhuk.
Schroeder allegedly went to confront the couple on August 14 2009 and was never seen again.
The state believes he was murdered.
