A PORT Elizabeth woman who went missing after an alleged robbery in St George’s Strand last week was found at a house in Motherwell late yesterday afternoon .

Sandisiwe Busi, 24, was located at the house in Kamvelihle, hours after having made contact with her aunt, Nomvuzo Ndyumbuza, for the first time in four days.

Busi – who disappeared after the alleged robbery on Thursday night, while out on a date with her boyfriend – was tracked down by police and found at what she said was a friend’s house.

She said she had walked to the house after the alleged robbery, in which the robbers made off with R1 200, a pair of takkies and car keys. “After we were robbed and the driver was locked in the boot, the guys told me to walk home.

I didn’t have money on me and the home was far, so I went to a friend’s house in Kamvelihle,” Busi said.

Asked why she had not made contact with her family earlier, Busi said neither she nor the people she was staying with had a cellphone.

A relieved Ndyumbuza said she was happy that Busi was safe at home, but she had a lot to answer to. “We just want to know what happened,” she said.
