WIN | A chance to cook with Cariema

Cape Malay food fundi Cariema Isaacs is heading to the Bay – and two Weekend Post readers will each win the chance to cook with her on Tuesday July 31.
Having launched her sumptuous book My Cape Malay Kitchen in April, Cariema will be doing a cooking class and demonstration at the Al-Fidaa School of Baking which opened in Market Street, North End in June.She will also be selling and signing copies of her book, which is stocked by Fogarty’s in the Bay. Cariema was born in Scotcheskloof in Bo-Kaap,the Cape Malay Quarter of Cape Town, where her love for this uniquely SA cuisine was developed. Having lived in the Cape for most of her life, she is now based in Dubai and working on a second cookbook.
To stand a chance to win one of two spots in Cariema’s class, SMS the word CARIEMA to 41893, followed by your name and surname. SMSes costs R1.50 each and free minutes do not apply. All errors are billed, Tiso Blackstar and Al-Fidaa staff and their families may not enter, and other Term’s and Conditions may apply. The cut-off for entries is noon on Monday, with the two winners to be drawn electronically and notified before day’s end.
