Agent scouts for PE talent

A talent scout from East London is looking for acts in Port Elizabeth this weekend, who are interested in being part of an international talent showcase in the US Diverse Management House (DMH) talent agency director Tanielle Ladwig is asking models, singers and dancers to attend auditions at the German Club in Lorraine on Saturday. Ladwig said the agency trained models, actors, singers and dancers from all over South Africa to take part in the annual International Talent Showcase in Miami (ITS-Miami), USA. “ITS-Miami is a six-day talent convention hosted annually in Miami, where talent will perform in front of the top names in the international entertainment industry,” Ladwig said.

“We have just returned from Miami with a 100% success rate based on callbacks and signings of our artists with international agents. South Africa made a massive impact in the international entertainment industry,” she said of this year’s convention. Some of the talent that shone at the convention includes Bazise Mashabane, who scored a scholarship with the New York Film academy. Having struggled to make it to the modelling spotlight herself, Ladwig said she acknowledged how hard it was especially for aspirants from the Eastern Cape. It took a lot of self-marketing for her to make it into the industry. “There is so much talent out there that often goes to waste simply because there is no opportunity for them to further a career in this industry. I want to share this opportunity with them. . .,” Ladwig said. For further information from Ladwig, email: info@dmhagency.co.za
