A Beastly appearance

ALL roads led to NMMU's Missionvale Campus the past week where Joyous Celebration was having a two-day concert.

Skinnerbek decided to put on her best gear, and just as well, because she bumped into former bantamweight champion Vuyani "The Beast" Bungu who was with his wife, Yoliswa. Your Gossip Girl, discreet as ever, did not ask him a lot of questions about his disappearance, but it was good to see him 'cos he's such a nice guy.

Maybe we should organise him one last fight with... well we'll think of someone, won't we?

The VIP area was full of interesting people – Umhlobo Wenene breakfast show presenter Putco Mafani was there with his wife, Bongiwe, who looked sexy in a blue number. I was hoping that Putco would do one of his trademark dances! And no, I won't go into detail, but I think he just had to behave because his missus was around.

TruFm DJ Tsepo Nontyi looked so fresh in his white T-shirt – a little visit to the gym and you will have ladies drooling all over you, dude!

These days, NMBM events director Seki Mandaba is always out and about and I am not complaining dahling because your smile brightens the whole room.

You see: your Skinnerbek can be nice.

Recently crowned Mrs PE, Unathi Faku, was present with her husband, Nceba. She was wearing a pink leather jacket and jeans – and she certainly had a good time as she shook what her mama gave her.

Dahling, I'm not sure about those red stilettos but, hey, Skinnerbek's fashion sense is not necessarily common sense!

But what was up with hubby? You seemed so bored, Nceba.

Unathi's really making the most of her new title say our spies who spotted her at a ladies tea at the Granary last Saturday before Joyous Celebration. You can get away with wearing the sash, Mrs F, but pluh-eeze, drop the crown, it is just too much – or are you trying to add on a bit of height to reach "Giraffe"?
