Win tickets for the Eastern Cape Wine Show

Slip into summer with two-day celebration of wine at the Boardwalk

Drink a toast to the start of summer by calling at the Eastern Cape Wine Show on Friday and Saturday November 30 and December 1 at the Boardwalk in Summerstrand.
Now in its fourth year, the Eastern Cape Wine Show concludes the four-show regional festival programme directed by wine authority Michael Fridjhon and presented by OutSorceress Marketing.
The Eastern Cape edition will see some 40 exhibitors bringing more than 200 wines to the Bay. Celebrate with scintillating bubbles from Krone, Valdo Prosecco, Pongracz and JC Le Roux, or sip and swirl award-winning whites from Steenberg Vineyards, Spier, Oldenburg and Fleur du Cap.
If reds are your bag, savour deliciously robust ones from Boekenhoutskloof, Raka, Wildekrans and Cape Chamonix.
In a show first, Mari’s Handmade Fudge and Brittle will be paired with wine while regular exhibitor Just Biltong will again provide delicious wine-complementing fare to snack on.
Light meals will be sold and the purchase of wines will be facilitated by wine retailer Prestons at the Shop@Show stand.
The Shop@Show option is a useful way of stocking up at show prices with delivery to your door. The Eastern Cape Wine Show will run from 5 to 9pm at the Boardwalk’s Tsitsikamma Rooms.
Tickets bought via Computicket cost R190, but early bird tickets at R160 will be available until Sunday November 18.
There is also a combo deal early bird option of R200 which buys you an entrance ticket and a tapas meal voucher to the value of R60.
From November 19 the Wine Taste Tapas combo deal is R230 which includes a tapas meal voucher to the value of R60.
