Hot action on the cards in Sibanye, PE Stars encounter

Port Elizabeth soccer lovers will be split in half on Friday as local teams Sibanye and PE Stars lock horns in a much-anticipated ABC Motsepe League top-of-the-log clash at the Adcock Stadium (7pm).
Sibanye head the standings after being unbeaten in their last five matches.
Their most recent result was a 1-0 win over Butterworth.
After 15 matches, they have 31 points from nine wins and four draws.
Meanwhile, Stars’ close 3-2 win against Amavarara saw the team climb up from fourth to second place on the log.
They are only two points behind Sibanye.
The side have a remarkable unbeaten run of nine games and will be on the lookout to make it 10 in a row against Sibanye.
“Friday will be a good advert for football in the NMB region,” Stars coach Duran Francis said.
“I am really excited for the young players from both sides who will experience playing in front of a big crowd.
“These are the type of games that will stay with players for a very long time.
“Football supporters will witness an amazing evening.”
Another PE derby will see Swartkops Valley United Brothers battle Peace Makers at the NU 2 Stadium in Motherwell on Friday (6pm).

The team are sixth on the log with 27 points from 15 matches, while their opponents are 10th with 18 points. Fixtures
