Stars of future get chance for selection ahead of tournaments
EASTERN Province age-group rugby selectors are hard at work whittling down the players for the various junior interprovincials to be played in the mid-year school holidays.
The teams for the Craven Week are expected to be finalised after the Meyer Sauerman tournament in Graaff-Reinet next weekend (May 16-17).
On Monday, the urban zone will have their final trials in the under-18 division, while the U16 trial teams to play in Graaff-Reinet are published below.
The dates for the tournaments are: July 6-10: Grant Khomo U16 Week in Pretoria; SA U18 Academy Week in Wellington; July 14-19: Coca-Cola Craven Week in Middelburg (Mpumalanga).
