Easter tournament at semis stage

THE semifinals of the Zafa Easter Tournament for both the Premier League and First Division will be played at the Dynamos field today.

In both divisions the winners will pocket R6000 and the runners-up R4000.

The semifinalists will receive R2000 each.

All the teams in the semifinals will receive playing kits.

Continental Express, who are 13th in the Premier League, play Eleven Angels (third) while Young Professionals (second) take on United Comrades (fifth).

United Brothers, who are 16th, are the surprise package in the semis.

They play All City Stars (third). In the second semifinal Real Stars (fourth) play Black Eagles (11th).

The teams not involved in the tournament will continue with their league programme.

In the Premier League Young Romans, who dropped from pole position to third following their poor performance in recent weeks, should make up lost ground when they play Bubs at the Wolfson C field tomorrow.

Bubs are two places away from the bottom of the log.

First division log-leaders Eleven Masters have a tricky match against Major Stars on the same field on Sunday.

Fairway Stars (second) will also not find it easy when they play Young Neighbours (fourth) on the Wolfson B field.
