Letter: Enjoy Vice’s tour reports

I AM not a cricket boffin, but even I can see that the recent cricket tour to India must have been one of the most miserable that South Africa has ever been part of. All the more reason then that we have to be grateful for the sprightly and witty coverage that Telford Vice has been able to muster daily.

He clearly knows a lot not only about cricket but about a lot of other things too, all of which he is not shy to bring into his reporting. His write-ups have been a pleasure to read and I look forward to seeing many more. Let's hope he has more rewarding performances to work on in future.
