Thugs do not like Madonsela

KENNY Kunene has joined Gwede Mantashe, Bheki Cele and security cluster ministers in lambasting the public protector.

At the funeral of Nelson Mandela, struggle veteran Kathy Kathrada told the world that Mandela's legacy included the constitution which established the Chapter Nine institutions to safeguard our democracy. Chapter Nine includes the Auditor-General, Public Protector and National Prosecuting Authority.

Kunene and former jailbirds and those aligned to Zuma cannot be the ones who are discrediting Madonsela.

They live in glass houses with their morals conflicted. Jailbirds and political thugs have a common enemy, Advocate Madonsela, who has friends like Zwelinzima Vavi, Ben Turok, Raymond Suttner, morally clean ANC members, the DA, COPE, IFP, UDM and probably Numsa.

We applauded her investigation that cleared Kgalema Motlanthe, Nathi Mthethwa and found Bheki Cele, Julius Malema and Sicelo Shiceka guilty.

Those who attacked Bulelani Ngcuka and Vusi Pikoli are now doing the same to Madonsela.

Soon we will erect a tombstone on the grave of the Scorpions written "killed and buried by Zumanists, here lies a 90% successful crime busting unit hated by corrupt ANC mafia".

In lambasting Madonsela, Kunene, a jailbird, wants to be in history as a great assassin of the public protector. Where was Kunene during the struggle?

Shine Madonsela, shine! We know that you are neither working for the DA nor the ANC, but are working against corruption and mismanagement and abuse of public office.
