Long-haul bus driver leaves passengers high and dry

Passengers on a Translux bus travelling from Durban to Cape Town were left in the lurch in Port Elizabeth late on Tuesday night when the driver deserted them, citing “diesel problems”.

Among them were at least one sick passenger and a father who subsequently was unable to make a job interview in Cape Town...
