Prosecutor back in court on corruption charge
A Uitenhage prosecutor, charged with corruption after allegedly accepting a R1,500 bribe from two men accused of assault, received a day’s grace after a state witness was granted extra time to review earlier evidence.
This was before cross-examination by the defence could be concluded following a long break in the witness testimony...
