Blunden's attempted murder case resumes

Blunden, 55, co-founder and former chief executive of Blunden Coach Tours faces a charge of attempted murder after he allegedly shot his former brother-in-law Deon Williams, 54.
Williams was allegedly shot following a heated argument at the Blunden family home in June 2015. It is alleged Williams had confronted Blunden after he received a frantic phone call from his daughter, Kaylin, claiming she was being kicked out the house.
Kaylin and Williams’ former wife, Cheryl, who is also Blunden’s sister, had been living in Walmer Heights home at the time.
The trial was set to resume last week but was postponed after the court was informed that Blunden had changed his legal representation and would now be represented by advocate Terry Price SC and that a new prosecutor would be taking over the case.
