A man died after being stabbed inside his shack in the McCarthy informal settlement in Kamesh at about 8pm on Sunday.
Brendon Human, 21, died while being rushed to hospital shortly after he was stabbed.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli said an unknown man was seen leaving Human’s shack shortly before Human staggered out of it.
“Moments later, Human came out of his shack profusely bleeding and was rushed to hospital,” he said.
Nkohli said Human was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
“The deceased sustained several stab wounds to the upper body.”
