Call to witnesses of fatal car crash

Police are appealing to any witnesses to the fatal crash on the M4 on Saturday to come forward.

The driver, Ngameko Jonas, 26, and his passenger, Melikaya Kolosa, age unknown, were killed in the crash.

Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said the Polo was travelling towards Deal Party at the time of the crash, which was near the Mount Road offramp.

“It emerged that more motorists might have witnessed the accident,” she said. “Detectives are seeking witnesses to come forward to confirm what transpired.”
