The young Grey first team, who are missing three players to the Warriors Cubs, had mixed fortunes over the first two days at the annual Grey Cricket Festival in Port Elizabeth.

The innings was built around a well-played 93 by Tiaan van Vuuren, who was well supported by Arend Visser (40), Cade Cambier (30no), Thomas Molenaar (28) and Liam Maree (23no).

The second day did not go as well for the Grey batsmen as they collapsed to 103 all out against Durban High School.
DHS had no difficulty in passing the total for the loss of only three wickets.
There have been two centuries on the opening two days, with Heinrich Pieterse of KES leading the way with a brilliant 157 against Northwood.
He has done just as well with the ball, taking 10 wickets in the two days with a best return of 6 for 30 in a tight match against Selborne.
Brayden Sambhu of DHS also scored a century on the opening day against Muir College.
