Nafa league still wide open

WITH eight points separating the top 11 teams, it is anybody's race in the Nafa Premier League.

Tomorrow Bloom Callies, who trail Glenville on goal difference at the top of the log, play Blackpool on Finnis 1.

Last week Blackpool squandered the opportunity to regain their place at the top of the log when they allowed Glenville to come back from 0-2 down to draw 2-2, while Callies dropped to second after losing 1-0 to Westlake.

Glenville renew their rivalry with traditional rivals Shamrocks on Malabar 1.The Rocks are struggling way down the log.

This evening Saints will be hoping to carry on from where they left off last week when they host Fairview Rovers.

Strengthened by the return of several SAB League players, the tailenders beat Shamrocks 8-3. Rovers are also struggling, two places above Saints. Newly promoted Fairdene, who are just one point behind the log-leaders, play Ebenezer on Gelvan 1. Ebenezer are one of four teams tied in sixth place.
