Use military for policing

I AM referring to the articles, "Tow trucks dodge the law", "Speed cameras get the middle finger", "60000 arrest warrants still outstanding" printed in The Herald yesterday.

We have a military (competent or not) that is not fully utilised.

We as taxpayers fund their training and deployment within our borders.

My opinion is that government can surely train and deploy our military staff to assist in traffic control, general policing and the apprehension of those in contravention of our laws.

The same goes for the crimes related to gangs and the obvious drug and violent crimes connected to their activities.
