And Bay residents are footing the bill in the Nqwazi vs Qaba showdown
Nelson Mandela Bay city manager Noxolo Nqwazi and Mandela Bay Development Agency chief executive Anele Qaba have squared off in a showdown over a municipal directive that suspended Qaba’s power to make any decisions at the agency.
The two have been at loggerheads before and leaked letters between Qaba and Nqwazi this week show the gloves are off again amid escalating tension, with R37m worth of funding withheld from the agency. ..
