Rugby game ends in chaos after Jeffreys Bay narrowly lose home clash to Harlequins

When the final whistle blew in a hotly contested Super 14 club rugby match in Jeffreys Bay at the weekend, chaos erupted as angry supporters invaded the pitch, leading to three PE Harlequins players being stabbed and cut with broken bottles.

The violent scenes at the Pellsrus Sportsground played out at about 5pm on Saturday, after the Harlequins beat the Jeffreys Bay rugby club 24-22, with the winning points coming off the final kick of the match...
