Ndlambe explains halted demoltion

LAWYERS for the Ndlambe Municipality yesterday explained why they ordered Rhodes University tax expert Matthew Lester to stop demolishing his R8-million Kenton-on-Sea mansion despite a Supreme Court of Appeal judgment for it be razed.

Ndlambe attorney Brin Brody said demolishing the house required a detailed municipality-approved plan on how it would be done without damaging the houses of neighbours or destabilising sensitive dunes in the area.
