Water cuts in parts of city at weekend

Several parts of Nelson Mandela Bay will have an interrupted supply of water from today until Sunday while the municipality conducts routine repairs and maintenance to its pipeline.
Between 9am and 4pm today, water will be cut off in some parts of Circular Drive and Wessel Swart Drive, while Govan Mbeki, Missionvale, Algoa Park and parts of Zwide township will be affected tomorrow between 7am and 2pm.
The Port Elizabeth Harbour, Govan Mbeki Avenue up to Russell Road and Strand Street will have an interrupted supply over the weekend.
Municipal spokesman Mthubanzi Mniki said the municipality would try to ensure the interruption periods were shorter than the anticipated timeframes.
