Two held after gang shooting attempt

TWO alleged gang members were arrested following a shooting near a Gelvandale shopping complex in Port Elizabeth yesterday.

Witnesses said the alleged gang members were waiting in a white Volkswagen Golf for their target, an unknown man, to come outof the Spar.

It is believed they spotted their target at 9.55am and fired eight shots, but missed.

"When they saw him running towards his own vehicle they ran away," a car guard said. - Alvené du Plessisa
