I was handing South African sailing colours to Georgiou Divaris at a regatta on the North End Lake and shortly after exiting the venue, discovered that I had a puncture! I was struggling to remove the spare wheel while trying to stay out of the path of passing motorists when Witbooi, who had photographed the event, stopped.
He cheerfully changed the tyre and sent me on my way. Thank you so much, Brian, from my husband and I, it is very much appreciated.
