PREVIOUSLY the telephone directories were delivered to Telkom customers and extra copies could be obtained at your nearest post office. Not this year.
They were delivered to a select few suburbs in Port Elizabeth (none to Walmer for instance). Books can be collected at Moffet Lifestyle Centre and only one copy per business irrespective of how many incoming lines or extensions you have.
The books are missing advertisements and there are errors in the Yellow Pages.
No international or national dialling codes are listed any more.
To top it all there are complaints from casual staff hired to deliver the books “door to door” of not being paid. What happened?
