Same metro but different worlds when service slips
in Opinion by TMG Editor
I RESPOND to Mr Mackenzie's letter ("Service non-delivery affects all," February 18) and agree our city is failing us sadly.
He likens his plight to that of people in the "poorer areas". The difference is he had the R600 to buy himself the drain cleaning equipment and understood how to clean the drain – well done.
Unlike Mr Mackenzie, I am sure these poorer people do not have medical aid, security, retirement funds etc to cushion the blow of service delivery deficiencies.
