Metro consulting authorities on quarry in sensitive area
Mining is under way in an environmentally fragile corner of Nelson Mandela Bay. This is despite the opposition of the metro, the provincial Department of Economic Development and Environmental Affairs (Dedeat) and the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency.
