Facebook users will soon be able to express emotions other than "Like", it was announced this week.

Facebook launched series of alternative "Reaction" buttons - a more expressive Like button - which will allow users to express love, laughter, happiness, shock, sadness and anger.

Facebook is currently testing "reactions" in Ireland and Spain before bringing the experience to everyone.

"Reactions gives you new ways to express love, awe, humour and sadness. It's not a dislike button, but it does give you the power to easily express sorrow and empathy - in addition to delight and warmth," Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said.
