THE Nelson Mandela Bay Motsepe Foundation is calling on organisations in sport, religion, education, arts and culture to apply for funding which will help them develop more people.
It is also calling on NGOs, youth and women in business, who are not fully supported by other organisations, to take advantage of the opportunity.
Secretary Mongameli Peter said the foundation, which had so far this year awarded 20 bursaries to students, was about encouraging development in all areas. He said the applications for funding were open to any legally compliant, well established organisation in the sectors invited. "NGOs are normally subsidised for operational costs, but with this fund, they can apply for capital for development purposes." - Thulani Gqirana
