THE showpiece international rugby friendly between the EP Kings and Wales will be a big occasion for players and fans at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tonight, according to Kings skipper Darron Nell.

The Red Dragons are playing their first-ever match in Port Elizabeth and the new-look Kings team are keen to show what they are capable of against top-class opposition.

"There is no doubt that this will be a great occasion and the guys have been working hard in the build-up to the game," Nell said.

"They want to translate all their hard work in training into a good display."

The 33-year-old EP skipper, who has played for the Cheetahs and Castres in France, said the Wales game would be one of the highlights of his career. - George Byron and Alvene du Plessis
