The SABC recently refused to air a Democratic Alliance election advert, titled 'Ayisafani', claiming it incited violence against police.
The DA hit back by saying the state broadcaster is censoring adverts that represent the ANC badly, and that the top dogs in the parastatal are protecting their positions.
The Independent Communications Authority of SA (Icasa) said the DA laid a complaint on Saturday, and the SABC responded to Icasa on Sunday night.
Icasa will rule on the complaint by the DA against the SABC on Monday (14/04/14), the organisation said.
"The ruling would be made before the end of business today [Monday]," Icasa spokesman Paseka Maleka said.
