THE Eastern Cape film industry is a force to be reckoned with, Port Elizabeth producer Luzuko Dilima believes.
Dilima was talking after Of Good Report was named the best feature film at the South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas) at the weekend.
The controversial film, written by South African director Jahmil XT Qubeka and produced by Mike Auret and KwaDwesi resident Dilima, had been nominated in 12 categories and on Saturday it walked away with seven awards at the glittering event at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg.
Dilima, of New Brighton Pictures, said winning seven out of the 12 categories in which the film was nominated was a humbling experience
