PARTS of Nelson Mandela Bay will be without electricity on Sunday from 8am to 5pm due to refurbishment and maintenance work.
Areas affected are those bounded by: Witteklip, Van Stadens, Woodridge, Sunnyside, Thornhill, Matjiesfontein, Longmore, Limebank, Loerie Filtration Plant, Gamtoos pumping station, Gamtoos River area, Gamtoos River Mouth, Mauritzkraal, Nocton Farm, Handsworth Estate and Savannah.
Municipal spokesman Kupido Baron said: "As there is no guarantee that supply will be off throughout the whole period stated, installations on all premises must still be regarded as being live during these hours." – Herald Reporter
