MUIR College High School will commemorate 192 years of its existence with a massive reunion attended by past and present Muirites from across the world next month.
The matric classes of 1959, 1964, 1974, 1989 and 2004 will start off the March 7 weekend with various sporting, formal and social events.
Old Muir boys will take on Kirkwood High at tennis, squash and hockey before the Old Muirite Union annual general meeting is held in the school library. The evening will conclude with a party in the school quad with live entertainment.
Sharks, Scottish and Springbok rugby player, coach and commentator John Allan will be guest speaker at the Old Muirite Union dinner on March 8. – Chanice Koopman
