THE Beach Hotel will host the 12 couples who make it through to the finale of The Herald Bride and Groom 2015 competition in style at its cocktail function on Thursday March 10.

Banqueting co-ordinator Danielle Möller said the hotel was looking forward to hosting the gala finale of the annual wedding competition and to treating the winners to a private dinner later.

“One of the highlights of the Beach Hotel as a wedding venue is that it is beautifully decorated, with each of the venues having a classic feel. This makes it a cost-effective option as you do not need to drape the walls,” Möller said.

The Port Elizabeth hotel will treat the winning couple and eight of their chosen guests to a private dinner with a special menu.

Although the Summerstrand venue, which overlooks Hobie Beach, has several restaurants and function venues, the versatile Boardroom with its stained glass window is “a bit more intimate and feels very romantic”, she said.

The winning couple will also receive the following:

MSC Cruises: A four-night cruise to Portuguese Island and Inhaca off the coast of Mozambique, with accommodation in a superior ocean view cabin, including all meals, entertainment, a captain’s gala dinner and a cocktail party.

This prize excludes port baggage, insurance and service fees of R860 per person which must be paid in cash, transport to and from the port and items of a personal nature such as drinks, shopping, casino and spa.

Francarlo Designer Goldsmiths: A ladies diamond rose gold piece valued at R5 999 and a gents titanium watch to the value of R4 999.

The Herald: The newspaper will provide flights for the couple between Port Elizabeth and Durban, as well as a 12-month subscription to The Herald e-edition.
