This year the winning entries nabbed amazing prices from sponsors: 

Walmer Park Shopping Centre, Ster Kinekor, Vodacom, PickWick Books and Stationers, Nandos and Bostik.

This years competition winners:

- Poetry winners: Isabella Goosen (Clarendon Park Primary); Meeka Pillay (Collegiate Girls); Rania Yon (Collegiate Girls). Eva Froise scooped up a prize in the High School Art category.
- Bukhobenkosi Nomatye, from Union High School, won a prize in the High School poetry category.
- Future journalists: Sisonke Zide (NMU) and Michael Hudson (Boston City Campus) nabbed prizes for their informative articles submitted in the Tertiary Article category.
- Riley Meyer (left) from Alexander Road High won a prize for Creative Writing. Aphiwe Cetywayo (Walmer High School) and Sibulele Mayedwa (Victoria Park High School) each nabbed a prize for High School art.
- Clarendon Park Primary winners: Victoria Burger, Alice Black and Kate du Toit each scooped up a prize for Primary School art.
